US President Donald Trump, noting that the Islamic Republic once "bullied" the region
but that era is over, said the Iranian government must no longer say "Death to America" and "Death to Israel."
Speaking at a dinner with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump said he would like to lift sanctions on the Iranian government at the right time and give them "a chance to rebuild the country."
Trump said: "I'd like to see Iran rebuild itself peacefully again, not saying death to America and death to Israel. They were the bully of the Middle East, and now they're not the bully anymore."
The US president added: "They have tremendous potential — great oil power, and great people, smart and energetic."
